Fall is quickly fading into winter here in the Pacific Northwest of the US.
Most of the leaves have fallen, and the snow is creeping ever lower on the hills surrounding this area.
Though everything seems muted, a closer look reveals a kaleidoscope of pinks, reds, yellows, and greens.
This close inspection also reveals shapes and patterns in the plants waiting for spring to bring back their vibrance.
What does nature look like where you are? Are the colors muted as they are here? Or do you live in a place with vibrant beauty all year round?
